Boat Name: Ocean Trek, a catamaran style vessel that measures 18 meters in length, powered by two 6-71 Detroit diesel engines giving a top speed of 10 knots. Boat Skipper: Mick Saliwon After a great beakfast of omlets we geared up and did a live drop onto the wall. We toodled about having a good look at all of the Gorgonians on the wall plus had our photo taken. We came up to the rocks at the top of the wall and did a 2 minute deep stop. We shared air for a while as we continued to look about. I shot my DSMB and we made our way out from the rocks as we did our safety stop. We skipped the last dive of the day, enjoyed a tasty chicken ceasar salad for lunch and settled our bill. Then began the transfer of gear and people to the wharf. We then hit the road to Bowral to spend New Years Eve with my parents. |
