Boat Name: Ocean Trek, a catamaran style vessel that measures 18 meters in length, powered by two 6-71 Detroit diesel engines giving a top speed of 10 knots. Boat Skipper: Mick Saliwon Live drop and pickup. Everyone geared up after lunch ready to enter the water together in a live drop. Cheryl and I then decsended down the the bolders below. We explored the boulders with plenty of other divers about. We made our way up and along the base of the wall and found a rock cave which we checked out. On exiting the cave we made our way over the boulders checking out the many schools of fish. Unfortunately we didn't see any of the Seals. Still with so many fish in the area you can easily see why the Seals like it. We continued around the rocks and spotted one of the bomb shells. When Cheryl was down to 100 bar she switched over to my air for a while. Eventually she switched back, I shot my DSMB and we made our way out from the rocks as we did our safety stop. Ocean Trek made its way back around to Jervis Bay. We skipped the last dive of the day, got our log books up-to-date and then sat down for another great dinner prepared by Bob. |
