Boat Name: Ocean Trek, a catamaran style vessel that measures 18 meters in length, powered by two 6-71 Detroit diesel engines giving a top speed of 10 knots. Boat Skipper: Mick Saliwon Stepped off the dive boat and headed down. Made our way towards the reef and found Ocean Trek's anchor chain. Worked our way around from there towards the wreck. Came across the bollards and winches. Then headed over to the boiler. Then took a look around the engines, the drive shafts and propellors. Then found the rudder. A nice and simply laid out set of wreckage that was absolutely delightful. Eventually we made our way back to the anchor chain and used it for our ascent. Bob had prepared mexican tacos for lunch. Then we had a rest while waiting for the next dive. |
