Boat Name: Ocean Trek, a catamaran style vessel that measures 18 meters in length, powered by two 6-71 Detroit diesel engines giving a top speed of 10 knots. Boat Skipper: Mick Saliwon Headed to the bow and followed the anchor chain down, then across the sand to the rocks. Had a lot of fun with a friendly Grouper that just loved having its belly ticked. We went into some caves in the wall and generally looked about the area. Cheryl spotted a large Wobbygong shark resting on rocks in the open. Shared air with Cheryl for 5 minutes after she'd reached 100 bar and we were heading around to where we'd start going out from the rocks towards the dive boat. Switched Cheryl back to her own supply. Shot my DSMB in open water just in case there was any surface boat traffic. |
