| Diving the Back Beaches of the Nepean Peninsula is regarded by some as probably the best shore diving in the whole of Victoria. And if you're fortunate enough to be able to access them by boat, then even more wonderful locations become even easiler to reach. Exposed to the open ocean, these dive sites are heavily eroded and full of tunnels and gullies supporting a great range of oceanic fish life in clear, cold ocean visibility. Swells, storms, freak waves and rips make these sites ompossible to dive except in rare flat conditions. Even then, scuba divers can never completely relax their guard as the mood of the ocean can change swiftly. |
