At Work

I'm currently looking to find a challenging and rewarding position with a forward thinking company where I can make valuable contributions to their growth, strategy formulation and business outcomes. Appropriate position titles might include:

  • Chief Digital Officer: I can ensure your organisation grasps the digital world by the horns and take charge of your online future. I'll make sure every aspect of your online sales, marketing, communications and social media strategy, tactics and frameworks work efficiently and smoothly.
  • Online Sales Manager: I can leverage your traditional retail business to establish a highly successful online sales operation, or significantly improve the results of your existing online B2C and B2B sales operations.
  • Marketing Manager: I can help you improve traditional marketing operations and drive your business forward, plus help you transition to an "online first" marketing strategy.
  • Communications Manager: I can make sure every aspect of your 360-degree communication strategy — internal and external, online and offline — connects with all target audiences.
  • Social Media Manager: I can develop and implement a social media plan that encompasses all the marketing/communications/social requirements for your organisation across traditional and online channels.

Work Background

I'm truly fortunate to have spent most of my working life in and around what has to be THE most exiting industry — Information Technology. And in an era where the most amazing advances just keep on happening.

One of the great virtues of working in IT is that you are exposed to a great range of organisations and many industry verticals. Best of all, I have been privileged to have worked in many different and challenging positions, for many different types of organisations and with some great people.

I enjoy new, interesting challenges, working for companies with high growth targets. I enjoy making valuable contributions to the strategy formulation and direction of the organisation, plus being a change agent to make it happen.

I have a proven ability to establish and grow businesses or divisions in tough economic times using a combination of my management, marketing, communications, information technology and business development expertise.
