Took 3 tries. I tried it at first thinking about rows. I then figured it out after a walk around the house, I then looked at it from a totally different perspective.
I think it is all about how you look at things... creatively or only analytically

A friend at work showed this to me. It took me about half an hour to solve it, but I've since gained hours of enjoyment from tormenting my friends!

The co-teacher gave this to the kids. After about 40 minutes I thought far enough out side the math box to see the solution. It should drive the classes of high school students nuts!

Wow! I feel accomplished. My oldest son brought this home from his math teacher and he asked for my help. I spent two nights totalling about 1hr 45min but, I got it. My 10 year old had to try 4 mor e days but he finally got it too.
