I sat down with paper and pencil to figure it out, writing the numbers in decimal form like a good little engineer. It took about 2 minutes for it to sink in that this wasn't a paper and pencil sort of puzzle. *Then* I got it.
I think I qualify.

I figured it out on the fifth try. Getting a zero response led me to it.

I wonder how many people are telling the truth about how long it took them. It took me just over an hour, I was thinking too far outside the box, I couldnt even see the box any more.

Got it the first try. Can't wait to try it on some friends. Thanks, Jon Carroll.

Really fun, I got it the clue way after staring at it for 2 hours. My dad did it mathematically in 30 minutes, but he didnt understand what the petals were! Ha!

My brother introduced me to this, and I'm proud to say that my boyfriend is still struggling to see it.
Very clever little puzzle.

Only took four tries, but I finally figured it out. I plan to share this puzzle with all my incredibly intelligent friends and see who can get it the fastest. We're so competitive, it will be fun!
