Boat Name: Sea Dragon, Dive Victoria, Portsea
Boat Captain: Andrew

Accompanied Cheryl to Portsea. She'd spent the day before at Rye Pier doing the first part of her PADI Advanced Open Water Course with Shane Whiteside. Now she was going to be doing the two boat dives for the course. There were five students, with Shane instructing and me tagging along.

I was buddied up with Jessie who was also doing his PADI Advanced Open Water Course.

We arrived at the dive site quickly and geared up. Once everyone was in the water we started down the shot line. Jessie had some equalisation problems, so we went back to the surface, sorted it, and headed back down to join up with the others.

We found them waiting for us at the end of the shot line. Shane then led them to the wall and down to the sand at the bottom. He then got them to do some problems that he'd put on their dive slates. Then they did maks clear drills.

Time to head up to the interesting parts of the wall. I checked Jessie's SPG and found he was down to 100 bar, so I moved over to Shane to let him know. Some others had also reached that point so Shane took them all to the top of the wall where he shot his DSMD.

The group then made its way up to 5 metres and did a 5 minute safety stop.

Back on the boat and back into Portsea. I got an air fill and Cheryl switched cylinders.
