Well, the 3 odd hours on the website, and the countless hours it kept me awake sure as hell werent worth it in the long run, What a simple problem... But still whoever thought of this, its classic
Now i know i tend to over anaylse things also... sumit to be smug about

i had 9 tries and still couldn't get it. before doing the tenth one, i thought of the name of the game. lo and behold, on my 10th try, i got it! i guess i have a simple mind too!

3 of my colleagues and I sat down to solve this game. Being the first among the 4 of us to break it, I took half an hour to solve. I managed to do it with Mr Gates hint: PEDAL around the rose... That was amazing! ~ Edmund (Singapore)

Solved it with 7 examples. It can be modeled as a system of linear equations in 6 variables.
