I arrived at The Scuba Doctor early in the day and checked out my new Northern Diver CNX dry suit. Tried it on and packed it away.

A fantastic clear and still day in the middle of winter on Port Phillip Bay.

We headed out to the Lonsdale wall. I was buddied up with Simon Wilson and we headed down the shot line and onto the Lonsdale Wall.

As always, this is a really fascinating place to explore. Simon proceeded to closely examine every nook and cranny, while I just hung back taking in the overall scenery.

As the no deco time finished we headed up to the 15 metre area near the top of the wall and explored around there before finally ascending.

The sun shining on us as we headed back finished off a brilliant dive.

Then it was back to Peter Fear at The Scuba Doctor for an air fill. Andy was heading out with two Open Water students to Portsea Pier the next day, so I decided I could come back down and do a pier dive in my new dry suit. So the dry suit was unpacked and we checked out how to rig it with my regulators. Turned out to be easy, just use the backup BC wing bladder inflator hose as the dry suit inflator hose. Could be a bit longer, but does reach and work.
