| My first dive reel was a Northern Diver Mini Metal Wreck Reel with tension and locking system which had 15 metres of nylon line on the spool. The aluminium annodised frame makes it very durable. The adjustable tension control drag system prevents the common problem of birdnesting and backlashing. While originally intended for cave/wreck diving and deploying lift bags, I use this dive reel with my surface marker buoy. |
