Took me one minute. I guessed right first time I tried. Confirmed it with two rolls. The name of the game really does give it away. Cant wait to try it on some other people.

10 minutes, and reading Bill Gates story ........ love it. It is true that the more mathematically minded you are the longer it is likely to take you to solve it ...........

Finally got it. Amazingly simple. But took me 5 minutes last night, left the game on my computer, went to bed with, made love, slept and got the answer as soon as I woke up.

Well, I'm one of those that had to sleep on it. Solved it within 5 minutes of waking up the next day (but after spending almost 2 hours on it the night before).

Got pointed at the Bill Gates story before I tried the actual java version and had it worked out by the first few example rolls... amazed some friends who are still totally confused (and frustrated as hell) after several days -- if the "takes smarter people longer" statement tends to be true... guess I'm the dumb one! Heh!
Awesome puzzle.
