Petals Around the Rose: Fraternity Register

I had been trying to figure out the formula I was sure I was missing, and was about to give up and look up a spoiler site, when someone said "it's all in the name", and it clicked. I feel like a complete idiot now

My twelve-year-old daughter only got it wrong once. From her second try forward, she had it down. She thought it was funny. I watched her do it a couple of times, though, and I got it. I don't think it has anything to do with intelligence. I think it has more to do with how broadly we think, not how deeply we think. It is almost a left-brain vs. right-brain type of thing.

This is one of those "forehead slap" moments....

Took me a coupla days but once I worked it out I just thought it was kinda stupid!

Great little brainteaser and simply simple once you know the secret.............

It took me a few minutes to ralize that I was making the problem too complicated. I kept thinking I was missing some instructions, but it's all in the name.

What a fantastic little puzzle, got it after about 20 minutes. Lets see how my friends do!

It took me about thirty minutes to figure this out before I was surprising everyone in the house by being the only one who knew the (correct) answer.
I'm keeping it a secret though
