I use this with my 9th grade special education kids. It's great....so interesting to see how each kid goes at it...some get obsessive, some won't try... I tell them that if they have not figured it out by the time they graduate, I'll tell them. I had one kid come back to see me after she graduated for the answer!

All algorithms where failing miserably for 45 min. Then an epiphany came and got it (with and without math).

I have to say that this can get you stuck no matter how good in math/puzzles you are.

thanks for the fun.

.

Very funny game...well, I saw the possibility of the rose after 5 minutes, but stupid me, I didn't put it into practice, I decided to try mathematics first, then I stopped for a quick dinner and when I came back, tried what my intuition told me before, and as usuall, it was right.

So, all in all, it took me about one hour to figure it out, and that's bad. I'm trained to think out of the box, and know very well that emptiness is far better than an analytical mind.

My wife, oh yes...she found the solution in less than 5 minutes. big grin
