Wow! What a feeling of achievement! I only rolled three times.... but after two rolls I must admit I sat staring at the screen for 10 minutes refusing to roll again until I had a "theory" to work on! So I read the Bill Gates story... and being a fan of "lateral thinking" puzzles I forced myself NOT to look for a complex mathematical answer.... and to wonder why the name was important... and why the answer was always even - and bingo! smile wink

BOY, was I going nuts trying different mathematical functions -- totals, totals multiplied by a certain color die, remainders, modulos...

Then I looked really hard at the name of the game again, and it all became clear. Total number of rolls before I figured it out was about a dozen.

Yee-haw! bounce

Hi. i have recently completed the challenge of the petals around the rose. i also completed the challenge of the rubiks cube, and the challenge of succesfully removing my monobrow with a pair of tweezers. my partner, matthew, thinks that i look alot better without the huge clump of hair that previously sprouted out of my forehead.
