flower hay all! wow i am very happy to have become a potentate! I think its not so important how long you take overall, as long as within that time you keep on coming up with reasonable alternative ideas; the answer could just have easily been a different reasonable method instead. but the key really was in the 0,2,4 (i.e. the equation was split). when i began following logic from that starting point i got the answer!! yay!! ;) love from London UK flower

I became a potentate over 30 years ago. I was surfing through something rose related and tripped a memory of Petals Around the Rose. I found this after Googling it. I'm pretty sure the potentate who presented it to me found it in Martin Gardener's collumn in Scientific American.
