I got it! A friend was going to take me through it last week, but we didn't have dice. I made a paper set, but they were insufficient. The simulator got me through it. Fun puzzle!

I really just stumbled across the answer. I tried it about 2 years ago, gave up after an hour; and then now I tried again, more or less guessed on the first try and lucked out, and then I figured out why.

Saw this when I was a kid. Pretty easy to figure out. Might have been harder if the person did not mention that the name of the game was important.

This drove me MAD for three weeks. I kept trying to work out different methods and failed at all of them. Meanwhile, friends picked it up immediately. My revenge is being a cruel, heartless wretch as promised. The solution is too good to share.
