A pleasing simple solution - I contemplated trying all manner of equations and number stuff but the cryptic instruction about the importance of the name led me to the answer. Now I'm off to buy some dice and confuse some coworkers!

i got this after four tries when i was in third grade. The only difference is that we called it the Polar Bear club, and we told how many polar bears were sitting around a hole in the ice cap, waiting to catch fish. It took Bill Gates that long? Wow, i feel special.

That named was a little less cryptic the the pedals around the rose. That one when they tell you what you are looking for makes it easy

I got two wrong answers before striking gold -- I was very lucky to have focused on the name from the beginning.

Took me about 30 minutes of my life to get it. Excelent lateral thinking problem ...

Took me about 5 mins.
Excellent puzzle very cryptic and yet so blindingly obvious at the same time.

Took me a day or so to figure out; I was over-thinking the problem. Got one roll that equalled 16 and used that to crack the puzzle.
Only after that did I understand why the name was important. Very clever.

A good website based implementation of an old game. It is a tricky little bugger of a game that can stump the most intelligent of people.

Very nice. Thankfully, I didn't have to lose too much sleep on this one.
