Had solved this puzzle back in 1960 and forgotten about it. I had a party and while waiting as guests arrived I introduced the guest to it. It was a big hit and delated dinner for a hour much to my wifes anger. Great fun had by all. Well most all.

On the first roll, my first thought turned out to be the correct answer. The only time I missed the correct answer was when I hadn't counted correctly.

Took me quite some time to get it figured out properly spent quite some thinking hours on it ;)
After having found it out, I then decided to use it in our Dungeons and Dragons game under the name of "Eyestalks on the Beholder"
