| Melbourne is the state capital of Victoria, Australia. It offers great diving opportunities. Melbourne dive sites vary from deep, shallow, reefs and wreck dive sites to wonderful pier dives and exciting wall and drift dives. The Ships' Graveyard, outside of Port Phillip in Bass Strait is one of the popular diving spots due to the more than 30 sunken ships and submarines to be found there. The huge diversity in marine life is astonishing. You get to swim with many kinds of fish and sea life including crayfish, blue devil fish, wrasse, cuttlefish and sea dragon.
