| Amed is a coastal area on the north east coast of Bali, Indonesia, known for its tranquil atmosphere, black sand beaches, and excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities. It's a collection of several fishing villages stretching along a 14 kilometre stretch of coastline, offering a more laid-back experience compared to the busier parts of Bali. Amed is a popular destination for snorkeling and diving due to its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life, including shipwrecks and turtles. AMED AREA DIVE SITES The Amed dive sites stretch along the coast from Amed village (muck site) to Jemeluk and Bunutan, and beyond to Lipah Bay (“Japanese Wreck” site). The Amed area is quiet and the scenery lovely. The area makes a great location for day trips. Popular Sites in Amed The more popular sites in the area include Bunutan Point, the Japanese Wreck and Gili Selang. See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amed_(Bali) |
