Petals Around the Rose: Fraternity Register

It took me forever to figure this stupid thing out! I stared at it for at least an hour. But now that I know the secret, I can drive all my friends crazy!

Took me ages...I was way overthinking.

Didn't get it when I first looked at the puzzle.

Wanted to bang my head on the keyboard after I got it.

I don't know. I had an idea before the first roll & confirmed the solution as probably being correct after the second and practically had a proof after the third. I just don't get the confusion, after 10 samples there are only so many ways one could permute or combine the numbers. Oh well, if you have not yet solved it good luck! -- Michael

Very innovative puzzle. It had me stumped for about 10 minutes, then it just "clicked." Good stuff.

I might buy some dice and see if I can find more [i]Potentates of the Rose[/i] in my area.

Solved it in about 15 minutes. I'd say the piece of information about intelligence being indirectly related to the time it takes to solve it helped. As soon as I read that I stopped trying to solve it mathmatically.
