Petals Around the Rose: Fraternity Register

Got it in about 10 minutes after a 12hr night shift...nice little puzzler

I also had it on my third try, so about 15-20secs. Always read the instructions... even though it's not explained it does tilt the way you look at the problem.

2 attempts and I had it! Woo hoo! I now feel very impressive. I guess it helps to be a visual person...
I was pretty entertained by all the insulted people out there. I get the impression they take themselves a little too seriously....

Looked at the screen blankly for a while, then one roll seemed to flick the switch. So obvious when you know!!

At first I failed and I grumbled and walked away. When I came back, my brain had had some sort of switch, and the answer was suddenly obvious! Fun.

Ten rolls and I gave up knowing that I'd never, ever solve it.

Came back about half an hour later, read the instructions again and a little light went on. Had I solved it? Ten more rolls, ten right answers. So, yes. I've solved it. I'm in

I'm so clever I didn't even have to roll the dice.

Only joking, it took me quite a few hours and I felt a bit silly at the end, but having now sussed it, I've emailed it to everybody I know and told them they're not smart enough to solve it.

This puzzle has made me both big and clever.

2 tries, and I had it. Visual-math person. I love this.

Saw the link on GorillaMask.net (to the Flash version at http://crux.baker.edu/cdavis09/roses.html). Got it after about 10 tries. Quite simple once you know the "answer" (or, rather, how to think of the question - the answer IS the question, in a form you can understand ;)... kind of like the Question from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... the Answer is 42, but it means nothing without knowing what you're asking!)
