Took this Mensan about ten minutes.

So much for the premise that it's harder for ostensibly "smart" people.

Chortle, chortle, nyah, ha, ha!

It took me about two hours and hundreds of tries, and after attempting to write down the throws as they came, under columns of 2, 4, 6 etc. I finally got it when I scrapped the idea and thought like a ten year old. The fact that I was writing the numbers on my list and not drawing the dice was a problem!

It was great to finally figure it out after getting a headache. Let's face it , if you even are interested in solving this riddle, you are an over - analyst of sometype. love it!

confused It took me a good few minutes to analyze the problem. I drew out several mathetmatic algorithms to help me out. My biggest problem was asserting importance to the order of the dice as they appear in the game. After giving up for a few minutes, I read Bill Gates reaction and told myself I needed to dumb my thinking down a little or I would run myself into the same rut he did. Thirty seconds later, I figured it out. Pfft, piece of cake...too bad I'm too damned stupid to see the easy picture.
