It's said the longer it takes you to figure it out, the smarter you are, because you look at the logical way of it, looking for some mathematic equation that will possibly give you the answer.

People who don't over-think it and take it literally (aka: not AS smart) are the ones that figure it out faster.

Logic is a left-brain function. perhaps those who are able to use both sides of their brain efficiently are able to communicate the ideas of logic and spatial paterns with greater success. your inability to see past the "logical" aspect of the game shows your narrow-minded thinking paterns. nerds who are unable to figure this out explain it away in the manner you have prescribed yet i fail to see the "logic" in your proposed argument.
