I enjoyed the brain teaser. I tried a couple of rolls the first time and did not get it. I came back to it and it made immediate sense after I truly read the title.

This was giving me some trouble for a bit, but reading that story about Gates and how the name of the game was stressed as important helped tip me over to understanding.

Seems as though you should concetrate more on mastering those 2nd grade spelling words. Unless you are attempting to apply wit but given the ignorance level prompting the use of "dumbasses", I seriously doubt it.

It has nothing to do with what you know; it all depends on your current frame of mind and how creative you are.

It did take me a long time. 8 minutes is way lonter than the 8 nanoseconds I think about everything else. If you are a smart person, and you didn't get it immediately, it took you a long time. Everyone needs to calm down.

...does ANYONE get the feeling the REAL test's not in the game but in our reaction to the Professor's apparently incendiary comment about the direct proportion of solve-time to intelligence level?!! And that our all-too human response to that IS the true subject of this whole sh-bang???!!!!

We generally think of dice as denoting only one value. This puzzle is defintely a classic IQ test style of question.
