Petals Around the Rose: Fraternity Register

It feels damn good to finally get it! Took me about 45 minutes.

After three months of having this puzzle sitting in the back of my mind, it finally came to me last night while I was sitting on the edge of sleep.

Took me about 15 minutes of frustration. To cool off i read Bill Gate's story, and the last sentence gave the game away...

I didn't solve the puzzle in itslef, I look at the JScript code but then I had to make sense of the problem and that took a little.
I'm not sure this is a problem, more of a riddle. Rose or rose(s) and plus the fact you use the standard dotted dice it's an important hint which is not mentioned, what drwas analytical people off is that they know that the answer is some kind of math so they don't see dots but number (so no more roses).

started off , then i looked like this , then realised it was so easyeven my youngest could do it. .took 1 hour to solve it.

It took me about 3 hours, but I had some help in solving it. It's a lot of fun.

Got it on the first try and rolled a few more times just to be sure. Then tried it on a few friends and became aware of why it's so difficult for most people.

I tried to shut off my analytic mind and I finally got it :P

Incredible game. You can spend hours if you insist on applying your knowledge on mathematics and logic. I solved the game in about 10 minutes, only after I decided to look carefully at its name...
