I find it amusing how hard it is for some people to figure this puzzle out. I had the solution after the first roll because I simply drew a diagram of petals around a rose.

i'm too much of a numbers guy. couldn't see it see it from the dice, but when i wrote down the numbers, i was able to figure it out in three tries.
