Took me almost 10 minutes and though I may not look it, I feel after figuring it out on my own! But that will be short lived... time to get back to work!

Took half an hour of logic followed by about 3 minutes of thinking like a child!

It took me about a week. Then, this morning (4/4/05) I looked at the puzzle and had an idea. It worked. I tried it again. Again, it worked. Now, I can solve the puzzle ever time. Very clever.

I got “petals around the rose” on the second roll. Does that mean I’m smarter than Bill Gates? If so, why ain’t I rich?javascript:emoticon(' ')

Back around 1977-78, I recall this game as having more items to be identified, namely thorns, caterpillars, aphids and a few more related items. This complicated the solution as people tried to figure out how all those items could exist at one time. Has anyone played this version and can they refresh my memory with a few rolls and answers? Thanks.

Fun! Took 35-40 minutes. Once you see it, you feel silly for not seeing it earlier.

After numerous tries, and reading through other peoples comments, I figured it out in just under an hour.
Glad I did.

I finally got it, after about 100 rolls. I have my 16 yr old step-son working on it now... Thanks!
