Ten minutes of busting my head, then reading the article about Bill Gates, reading what can be told, and another three minutes of wanting to figure it out faster than him...
Then the light flipped on.

I love this puzzle. I am a teacher and have introduced it to one of my junior high classes. They love it. We have done it for two days (just about 10 minutes a day), and no one has figured it out. They love it, though!

I don't know if it's called cheating, but I read the Bill Gates story and figured it out instead of trying over and over again.

I remember this from about 20 years ago. Sitting back in my chair, tulips bursting forth in bloom, Spring fever. Aha, just thought about this puzzle and I had forgotten the answer. Took a few cuss words but finally remember it, even with my senior moments. Thanks.
