Took about 5 minutes

About half an hour. As a math teacher, I was woried it might stump me.

Dont want to seem a smart arse, but you either see it or you dont. Got it on the first roll and within 30 seconds. Im a lateral thinker. Sent to me by a friend who has been working on it for ages. Not told him the solution. He's ripping his hair out as I type.

Took me about 5 minutes It's nice to know though it took so many educated people such a long time to find out..

Would like to say that it took me half a day to figure it out, but sadly cannot.
It took me two minutes.

I was trying to solve this on someone's flash version. That person didn't write the three things you can tell them, so it took me forever, until I found a link to this site and read about Bill Gates playing.

As that saying goes, "the smarter you are, the harder it is", it is half true. If you're smart at logical problems, this is nothing after the first roll. If you're smart at maths (like me), however, you'll have a hard time.
