Petals Around the Rose: Fraternity Register

Hello everyone, for this week we had a sub in our class (i am in eighth grade) and he introduced us to this game. It took me three days to figure it out and i was the second one, most of our class still has not gotten it. I am proud to say i am a member of the petals of the rose

Okay, so that was hard. Yeah. I especially appreciated that one comment I read somewhere on the web that "the smarter you are, the longer you will take."

I suggest focusing on which numbers are absent when the answer is zero. That should help. If not, c'est la vive.

What an anticlimax! Here I was trying out the most elaborate math formulae when the answer was literally staring me in the face! It took me a while, but it was well worth the effort, after which I couldn't help but feel smug... My advice: forget the math. Rather, CONCENTRATE ON THE NAME OF THE GAME. It'll finally hit you like a bolt out of the blue.

Well now, this gave me a bit of a headache but I solved it just as I was about to give up, much to my surprise, after 3 hours. I'm not much good at maths and if truth be told, I hate them! I'm quite pleased with myself for accomplishing something that had Bill Gates stumped for so long, I am. I've passed it on to my son so we'll see what he can manage.

WOW! That was hard! But I finally got it... Congratulations to all you other people that did! My family is amazed that I can get it!!

Argh, I hate puzzles like this! I stay awake and can't do anything until I get them! Finally I can go to sleep now, though.

I finally got it!! After trying for 2 hours, it just came to me! Too many years of Math in school took its toll and I was thinking of it in too much of a logical way. For anyone who doesn't know how to do it, DONT THINK LOGICALLY!! Concentrate on the name of the game. You'll kick yourself when you figure it out!

Took me about 5 min and a dozen and a half rolls. Just got to follow the rules and the answer is right in front of you.

ok...so mayb it was only a lucky guess..but i tot u need 6 tries to register? or mayb i'll jus play it again and find out...i'll take a very long time to figure this out...
