Haha, I am very embarrassed that this took me more than five minutes to figure out.

Thank you for this.
After doing many calculations in our favoured base 10, and then in octal and binary I was thoroughly confused.
I would also like to thank the tobacco companies. Although nicotone is a dangerous drug it did aid me in discovering the solution to this problem.
It wasn't until I threw my hands up and walked away in disgust that I realised the error of my ways.
The 'basic mathematics' required is just that.
I look forward to showing this to my 11 year old son who I am sure will solve this faster than I did.

Peter. Brisbane, Australia.

I rec'd the following message while playing... "Congratulations! We have another Potentate of the Rose." So, I decided to register. I played and got 10 out of 10 correct. Now, that either makes me dumb as dirt or smart as a whip... you decide. LOL roll eyes (sarcastic) I find it unbelievable that others have such a difficult time playing "around" with it.

After becoming a POTR I subjected my co-workers to PATR. Some of them spent days working on it some going as far as believing that the number of letters in the name had something to do with it. It was great fun! smile
