Petals Around the Rose: Fraternity Register

this seriously took me 10 seconds.. whereas my uber slow friend took 3 days to get it. She thought it had something to do with colour.

I must be thick then, cos I got it straight away

Fun. I hated playing it at first. Found it via a forum where 6 people quickly posted having had beated it, while I was stumped. Got it after a couple of hours, and now I am suprised it was that easy a solution.

This is a very clever brain teaser, took me about ten minutes to get it.

After doing many calculations in our favoured base 10, and then in octal and binary I was thoroughly confused.
I would also like to thank the tobacco companies. Although nicotone is a dangerous drug it did aid me in discovering the solution to this problem.
It wasn't until I threw my hands up and walked away in disgust that I realised the error of my ways.
The 'basic mathematics' required is just that.
I look forward to showing this to my 11 year old son who I am sure will solve this faster than I did.
