Perhaps this game was designed to be difficult only for the male gender.

Well if you don't understand the name you haven't solved the riddle. Just looking up the source code and finding the algorithm doesn't count.

Because there are a limited number of
values for the score and 5^6 possible
inputs, there are a lot of apparent patterns
of correlation that look great for a while
but then turn out to be wrong. (I think
the "Gates" story echos this.) I did *not*
solve the puzzle quickly -- after looking
at it unsuccessfully a few times I finally
had a quiet, distraction-free session and
got it. Congrat's to all the "potentates."

At last I got it !!!
Although I must say a caerful look at this list gave me a main clue to getting the answer...

Just takes a bit imagination. I guess most people with great memory and math skills just don't need imagination that often.

Amazing; I thought I'd never get it but I soon began, somehow, to get answers right--just not consistently. Within 15 minutes, however, I recognized the pattern which had lain on the tip of my tongue. Just a tremendous feeling when it finally hits you.
