I started by noticing that the number of letters in the title was 5-6-3-4 and that distracted me for a while. Had to jump away from that wrong dead-end.

HOLY CRAP!!!!! I first found this 8 months ago and have been haunted by it 'till today. I kept thinking about it terms of math and finding wich number is the rose. then when I saw the answer I kicked myself in the a$$ so hard I could tast it.
