I managed to get this after a couple of days, and only after reading the write-up about Bill Gates, I was able to see the various dice rolls and answers together, thus enabling me to deduce the calculation required to get the right answer.

Wow.......People have always told me I'm intelligent, fun little things like this are what prove it. It took me almost an hour of staring at the die until I finally got it. Wow.
