mensa sets me at 163
I didnt keep a log on this but I think I got it in under an hour...Definatly under 2
I opened notepad and listed the rolls
and didnt use up a full allocation unit before I got the answer. (80G HD btw)
But after all this I know the secret and understand this horrendus procedure... and as such I didnt save the text file.
Perhaps I'll write the program.
my math skills are such that the ruler measure twice cut once , still gets an occasional bad piece, even with the added write it down so the digits arent exchanged, although writing it down may increase the chance of digit transposition.
so I did answer wrong once after I got the idea/principle/procedure, so i may not be qualified to administer the the test for the order without a fraternity member to check me for those occasional misses. Hence I MUST write a program the computer wont make those occasional misses.

OK, this one took me 20 min. A good excuse for not doing my homework for solid state physics - thank you very much :-D

I became a Potentate of the Rose about 30 years ago. I recently started to torture my students with it. How cool that there's a website for them to practice that doesn't give away the answer!
