Thanks for putting this site up. I went through about 200 rows of excel number-crunching before figuring out a numerical equivalent to the "other" very neat answer. If anyone is curious, after all of that work I'd be happy to share. I never did have that aha! moment, but...I got it nonetheless.

Got it. Took me a bit, but reminds me of other games my friends and I used to play with a similar concept in mind.

Great fun! It took me less than three minutes after counting the dots, etc. Then I thought, "Hmmm, petals around the rose..."

It's absolutely genius... didn't take me long, all of 10 minutes... but the beauty of the puzzle is astounding.

Over analyzed it initially. Then I remembered of a game that we used to play at parties called "Around the World" where the solution was simplicity itself. Thinking in a similar thread, I went through the dice rolls again and noted the name of the game and solved it in under 5 minutes

Probably took me about 45 minutes of concentrated effort (most of it brute force data analysis, guess I am not a lateral thinker). Very satifying solution to a great puzzle, will definatly bring along some dice the next time I am with friends.

Solved it by roll #8. Clever game, I initially tried running algorithms in my head. So simple it's brilliant.
