I figured this game out while reading the story about Bill Gates playing it with Paul Allen and friends. Good stuff. I've tried this out at a couple of bars and it's always a big hit just so long as you are playing with the right type of people. Annoying people just give up and demand to know how it's done.

A friend mailed me the link to this site.....didnt get it for about 8 tries then read the introduction carefully and tried it again....got the answer in about 5 more tries

My daughter introduced me to this recently and said that the challenge was to solve the puzzle in as few rolls as possible... So I was honor-bound to accept the challenge.
Solved it in 5 rolls.
