I knew it had to be simple. Of course, being me, I tried every combination of adding, subtracting and averaging numbers in the most complex ways I could think of...and then I got it. 3 hours of re-rolling the stupid things. yeesh.

I worked on this for days, put it away for months and have finally cracked it. However (and I may sound really stupid here) I still don't understand the importance of the title. I liked the puzzle though.

It reminded me good old days of drawing  . This is really a good lateral thinking puzzle for us, who are already learnt to crunch the numbers to get the answer.
