Took me awhile to work it out - the funky thing is that there's NO maths solution, which is what I tried first.
I was all set to bust out a sci-calc and start a database for statistical analysis when I smacked myself in the head and took another look at it - and voila!

After the solution to the first roll came up zero, I stopped and read the instructions again. I initially thought "rose" could mean "rows." Obviously, didn't work. Even when I figured it out, however, it took one or two rolls to get it right.
