i got it after two rolls. it just came to me after staring at the screen for a minute. i wasnt too impressed though at first, i guess the fact that it took my friend a half hour to get it makes it interesting.

confused This is horrible. There's no sense of having conquered the problem once you've solved it. Those who say there is are just plain smug that they reckon they've been clever when you really aren't given much to go on to start with. The only thing I agree with is if you do have intelligence, you're going to try and solve this the usual way ie USING BRAINS. Brains aren't truly required for this puzzle, actually a simplistic mind, if anything. Any children about....?

I think you have missed the whole idea of the way that you look at a problem says how you approach the solution.
That is the core / center point. (is this good english? I'm still learning)
You got this quick, right?
You should try others like this.
Maybe you would see how perspective can blind you to easy solution.
Not smartness. Just relative viewpoint.

Took five minutes... much simpler than mensa and standardized IQ tests. I don't think you're necessarily smarter if it takes longer. I think you're smarter when you know when to shut off the part of your brain that thinks problem solving should be complicated. razz (stick out tongue)
