I got the solution after more than 50 tries! At first I thought it was so terribly difficult, but after taking a hard look at the numbers on the dice and remembering the name of the game, I finally got the pattern! It was really so simple!

Sent this to my son (new graduate) and he sent back and said he got it on first roll, and wondered what my problem was-and did I have anything more difficult for him- .I unwittingly had it at beginning, but drifted away with further study. Finally got with 1/2 hr of undistracted study. Was fun.

Don't you hate that feeling of "I don't get it, what a dumbass I must be", and don't you love the "Ha! I got it" feeling? What a cool and simple, but poxy puzzle to get.
That was a fun ten minutes of my life spent burning out my noggin. Thanks for the brainteaser!
