OK, I swear I'm really not bragging.
I figured this out on the second roll. Not because I'm good at math, I'm not. I think it was because I'm very visual and because I focused on the name of the game "Petals around the Rose" and took notice (luckily) that rose was singular.
I also spent time comparing the first roll with the second. It may also have to do with which dice I rolled and that just enough examples were given on those two rolls.
I think how quick people figure out this game may have a lot to do with which type(s) of learning modalities they are best at. I suspect, that people who are very good at learning by reading books will have a tougher time than most.
Or maybe I just got lucky!
