| Gull Island ( (also known as Bird Rock) is located on the eastern side of Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia, near Cape Woolamai. Entry/Exit: Boat. It is a large rocky outcrop situated in a bay normally sheltered from adverse south-westerly weather. It features small crevices and overhangs with some colourful corals, sponges and zooanthids. Wrasse, Leatherjackets, Morwong, Port Jackson Sharks and Conger Eels live in the crevices amongst the weed. Although only shallow, Gull Island has sponge life and yellow Zooanthids that one would normally associate with much deeper dive spots. Location GPS coordinates from Google Earth.
