Good fun for the lateral and mathematical thinkers! After 10 minutes of thinking mathematically, I wondered whether there was 'a clue in the question', and then solved it within 15 seconds. If the Maths tutor was right, that shows a massive lack of intelligence ... and a lot of my friends would agree with that conclusion!

My buddy sent this to me and I got it on the first try. When he asked me what the pattern was i assumed he was condescending to me, but he hadn't figured it out! turns out he had first seen it two years ago...
