Petals Around the Rose: Fraternity Register

i feel bad for those people who took a month outta their lives to solve this. Im 14 and it took me 5 minutes. People don't think.

My GOSH this drove me nuts for about 15 mins... all the different mathematical permutations running through my head... and then DING! the answer struck me and i was like nahhhh CANT BE! but it was!! that was fun!

For some reason, I figured this game out on the second roll of the dice! The name just gave it away i guess?

It took me over a month to finally figure it out. I had stumbled across the game browsing thru the internet for brain teasers, and this one left me stumped forever. For 2 weeks, I came home and sat down with paper and pen trying to figure out where the hell the score came from. Sheesh, how foolish I was for trying to make things so damn complex.

The solution, that I figured out almost instantly. But before that, to get an overall picture of the function and nature of the puzzle, that took some time indeed.

Wow, that was extremely difficult, yet so simple. I spent at least and hour and a half trying to find a mathmatical possibility for it. It only came to me two days later in the middle of math class. Creepy, I know.

When you finally figure it out -- you'll find yourself asking "what took me so long?" Simple yet complex. Keep it simple and you'll find the solution!

Gadzooks !! ... It took a while but I finally got it. Amazing !

This was EXCEEDINGLY easy to figure out: after theory of how to find the answer was refuted, I figured it out on the very next guess. I must admit, "simple" brainteasers like this are a LOT of fun to throw against others who are not in the know...or who can't get their noses far away enough from the bark to the whole forest.

Got it! That was great fun - I had a suspicion about the puzzle's solution early on, but I was missing one key point.

That was a lot of fun - and strangely rewarding. I'll be sure to pass on the game (but not the solution, of course!).
