After getting very frustrated the first time I attempted the puzzle I quit. I came back to it today and re-read the instructions. After a couple of minutes I felt like a complete idiot for not seeing the solution.

I use this in class every year, but I am currently looking for the Games Magazine article about this from the mid 80's. Does anyone know how to track it down? The publisher has no clue about it.
